Day 01: Arrival Calicut

Drive to Wayanad, set in the picturesque Western Ghats and littered with tropical rain forests, dense hills, rolling paddy fields, spice plantations and valleys. Visit the Edakkal Caves, a pre-historic rock shelter formed naturally.

Day 02: Calicut - Wayanad

Visit the Wayanad sanctuary where one can find animals like sloth bears, Sambhar (wild deer), elephants, monkeys, tigers, reptiles, deer, panthers, and many species of rare birds. Afternoon drive to Kuruwa Island, a cluster of uninhabited islands, in the middle of the expansive Kabini River. Navigate around the island with an experienced guide.

Day 03: Wayanad

Drive to Thalassery or Tellicherry, a vibrant fishing town in the north of Calicut, famous for the 3 C's- Circus, Cricket and Cakes. Enjoy the intriguing Theyyam dance in the temple near the resort.

Day 04: Wayanad - Tellicherry

Visit the bustling fish markets of Tellicherry or visit the ancient fort built by the British. Drive along miles of virgin white sands or laze on the fascinating Muzhipillangad Beach, Kerala's only drive –in beach. Indulge in the North Kerala culinary specialties.

Day 05: Tellicherry

A port town since early centuries and also known as the spice coast of India, Cochin offers you some fascinating snippets of history and culture. Relax and unwind at the hotel. In the evening enjoy a relaxing sunset cruise.

Day 06: Tellicherry - Cochin

Sightseeing exploration tour to many fascinating highlights of Cochin which include - The Jewish Synagogue, Jew Town, St. Francis Church which is the oldest European Church in India, the Santa Cruz Basilica built in 1557 by the Portuguese, the Dutch Palace, the Spice market and the 15th century Chinese fishing nets believed to have been brought by Chinese traders. In the evening, enjoy the traditional dance recital of Kerala, Kathakali.

Day 07: Cochin

Drive to Alleppey and embark on private houseboat and cruise on the canals, lakes and coves. Luxurious boats with well appointed bedrooms. Sunbathe on the deck or observe the palm fringed landscape. Observe the countryside lifestyle. Stop at villages, paddy fields and other places enroute. Overnight on board.

Day 08: Cochin – Houseboat

Drive to Periyar with its undulating hills, spice plantations, and elephant sightings. One of the 27 tiger reserves in India, the Periyar valley in Thekkady is the oldest. Check into your hotel. Either have the rest of the day at leisure or go on a spice plantation tour where you will be enticed by the aroma of spices like cinnamon, cardamom, pepper and nutmeg. Go for an elephant ride if possible.

Day 09: Houseboat - Kumarakom - Periyar

Escorted jungle trek involving bamboo rafting. Enjoy a full body rejuvenating massage. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 10: Periyar

Drive to Kumarakom and embark on private houseboat and cruise on the canals, lakes and coves. Luxurious boats with well appointed bedrooms. Overnight on board.

Day 11: Periyar - Kumarakom

Drive to Kovalam, popular beach destinations in Kerala with three adjacent crescent beaches separated by rocky headlands. Check into hotel

Day 12: Kumarakom - Kovalam

Day at leisure. Enjoy a relaxing full body Ayurvedic massage.

Day 13: Kovalam

Departure transfer to Trivandrum airport for your return flight.

Day 14: Kovalam - Trivandrum -Departure
